Maime’s Sugar Cookies

- 1 C Sugar
- 1/2 C Soft Butter
- 1/2 C Sour Cream
- 1 1 /2 tsp Vanilla
- Optional 1 tsp lemon juice and/or zest
- 1 Egg
- 2 1/2 C Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- Blend sugar and butter
- Add and mix in sour cream, vanilla, egg and optional lemon
- Combine together and sift into the wet mix: Flour, Baking Powder, Baking Soda, Salt
- Drop table spoon-sized balls onto ungreased baking sheet
- Sprinkle with sugar
- Bake at 350 until edges turn brown.
